HALL COUNTY, Ga. — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office made a significant breakthrough last week after a thorough drug investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals.

The operation, conducted by agents with Homeland Security, took place on Tuesday evening near Thurmon Ranner Parkway in Oakwood. During the search of a minivan, authorities uncovered a staggering 230 grams of methamphetamine, clearly packaged for distribution. In addition to this substantial find, two suspected fentanyl pills, a stolen handgun, two scales, and a small amount of cash were also seized. The estimated value of the methamphetamine confiscated was a staggering $17,300, according to deputies.

The three suspects apprehended in connection with this operation have been identified as 26-year-old Tina Ta Bui from Augusta, 30-year-old Ignacio Mondragon from Gainesville, and 39-year-old Peggy Lynn Vieira, also from Gainesville.

Each of the accused faces a litany of felony charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and theft by receiving. As a result, all three individuals are currently being held in Hall County Jail without the possibility of bond.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, with authorities working tirelessly to gather more evidence and information.
