Popular ‘Home Improvement’ actor Zachery Ty Bryan has found himself in legal trouble once again, this time for driving under the influence in California. The 42-year-old star was reportedly arrested for a suspected DUI in La Quinta, California.
According to reports from TMZ, Bryan was booked by La Quinta Police around 2:36 a.m. for driving under the influence with three or more priors. Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez of the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station confirmed the arrest, stating that deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a recent collision. Upon contacting the driver, they observed signs of impairment leading to Bryan’s arrest for DUI with priors.
Despite the legal troubles, Bryan appeared to be in good spirits in his mugshot. He was booked into the Riverside County jail and later released after posting $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 23 to face the charges.
This is not the first legal issue Bryan has faced in recent years. In 2020, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend. The charges included felony strangulation, coercion, harassment, and interfering with a report to law enforcement. Bryan eventually pleaded guilty to menacing and assault charges the following year.
In a separate incident in 2023, Bryan was arrested after a physical dispute was reported between him and an adult female at a residence in north Eugene. The actor’s legal troubles seem to be mounting, and it remains to be seen how this latest DUI charge will impact his career.
