(KRON) – A routine traffic stop in Fairfield on Tuesday led to the discovery of several weapons and drugs, the Fairfield Police Department reported.
On the evening of Feb. 13, a Fairfield police officer pulled over a vehicle in the vicinity of Pennsylvania Avenue and Missouri Street. Upon searching the car, the officer uncovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and drugs packaged for distribution.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Caejhan Landers, a resident of Fairfield.
Following the discovery of the weapons and drugs, Landers was taken into custody and booked into Solano County Jail on multiple charges:
- Carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle
- Carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances
- Carrying a loaded handgun that is not registered
- Possessing a machine gun
- Selling, giving, or transporting marijuana
- Possessing marijuana for sale
Landers’ bail has been set at £25,000.
