Keyshaun Muller : “South Carolina Men Arrested: $25k, Drugs, Gun Seized by FHP”

BUSHNELL, Fla. – Authorities in Florida have arrested two men from South Carolina after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs, cash, and a firearm in their vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper observed a vehicle speeding on I-75 (State Road 93) near mile marker 312. The trooper confirmed that the car was traveling at a speed of 96 mph in a 70 mph zone using radar.

The trooper was positioned at the official U-turn area of the interstate when the vehicle, identified as a Dodge Charger due to its distinctive tail light design, passed by, officials said.

Upon noticing the trooper’s presence, the Charger changed lanes and accelerated before eventually pulling over after the trooper activated the emergency equipment on the marked cruiser, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

As the trooper approached the passenger side of the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from the Charger, alerting the authorities to possible contraband inside.

The passenger, later identified as 20-year-old Korey Elijah Muller, was seen by the trooper breaking apart a joint into a Chick-fil-A cup located in the center console, based on rolling paper and a green leafy substance present, according to officials.

Upon speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, the trooper discovered a bag containing a green leafy substance that was clearly non-medicinal under the car display, as detailed in the arrest report.

Both the driver, 22-year-old Keyshaun Alfred Muller, and Korey Muller were questioned about the ownership of the marijuana. After a brief exchange of looks, Korey Muller admitted that the drugs belonged to him, according to authorities.

The trooper proceeded to search the vehicle, finding another bag of marijuana under Korey Muller’s feet. Korey Muller was placed in the backseat of the cruiser while the trooper continued to question Keyshaun Muller.

During the search, a clear bag with a green leafy substance was discovered under Korey Muller’s feet, and a black bag in the back seat contained several clear plastic bags packed for distribution, as reported by troopers.

Additionally, authorities found $25,181 in cash, a “High-Chew Green Apple THC chewable”, a Mossberg MC20 9MM firearm, and three phones inside the vehicle. Several clear plastic bags containing approximately 370 grams of marijuana, packaged for sale, were also seized, according to the arrest report.

Both Keyshaun Muller and Korey Muller are now facing multiple drug-related charges in connection with the incident.
