Kenosha police have announced that a 22-year-old man from Kenosha has been arrested by sheriff’s deputies in Arkansas in connection to a fatal shooting near Sheridan and 42nd last Saturday evening.
The suspect was apprehended by the White County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas early on Thursday morning. Kenosha Police Department has confirmed that the man will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide once he is extradited back to Kenosha.
The incident took place at around 6 P.M. on Saturday evening when officers responded to reports of gunshots near Sheridan and 42nd. Upon arrival, they discovered a 20-year-old man, later identified as Julian Flores, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The police department has extended its sympathies to the family of Julian Flores during this challenging time.
