Police have identified the three shooting victims who were found dead in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday night. The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Jay Street NE on February 14.

Responding to a report of an unconscious person, D.C. police arrived at the scene at 7:38 p.m. Upon entering the apartment, officers discovered two women and one man who had succumbed to gunshot wounds.

Assistant Chief of D.C. police, Ramey Kyle, stated during a news conference on Wednesday night, “When they arrived at the residence, they found the entrance door to be slightly ajar, inside three deceased adults.”

The victims have been identified as 58-year-old Renee Bigelow, who had no fixed address, 40-year-old Kimberly Stevens, and 59-year-old Leon Harper, both residents of Northeast D.C., according to a news release by the police department.

Authorities are treating all three deaths as homicides and are actively investigating the case. To aid in the investigation, D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each of the homicides committed in D.C.
