WAYNESBORO, Ga. — A 77-year-old man is facing charges after authorities say he crashed into four people and kept driving. The incident occurred at the intersection of 6th Street and Liberty Street on February 9, according to Waynesboro police.

Charlie Lane was identified as the driver responsible for the hit-and-run incident after investigators reviewed hours of surveillance footage. Lane was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
