Pop Tarts made their debut in 1964 with four original flavors: strawberry, blueberry, brown sugar cinnamon, and apple-currant. Over the years, the brand has expanded to offer between 20 to 30 flavors at any given time, with new flavors constantly being developed and tested to meet the ever-changing demands of the market.
A Life Well-Lived
In the latter part of his life, Post relocated his family to Elmhurst, Illinois, to work at the corporate offices of the Keebler Company. He retired at the age of 56 and settled in Glen Arbor, Michigan, enjoying his well-deserved rest.
However, retirement was short-lived for Post, as he accepted Kellogg’s request to become their consultant.
