BOSTON — In an incident that unfolded on Monday afternoon, Boston police apprehended two suspects after an unarmed robbery occurred in the city’s vibrant Back Bay neighborhood. The incident took place on Newbury Street, and the authorities swiftly responded to reports of a group of juveniles engaging in the illicit activity.

At approximately 3 p.m., officers from District D-4 (South End) successfully detained Antonio Packard-Wade, a 19-year-old resident of Dorchester, along with a 17-year-old juvenile female. The police were alerted about the incident and promptly provided a description of the suspects and the direction in which they were heading. This valuable information led the officers to Commonwealth Avenue and Dartmouth Street, where they initially spotted the individuals.

As the investigation unfolded, witnesses informed the police that the suspects had also been involved in a motor vehicle break-in and were subsequently making their way towards the picturesque Boston Common. Acting swiftly on this new information, law enforcement personnel began searching for the suspects in the vicinity.

The search led the authorities to Marlborough Street, where they located three individuals matching the description provided by witnesses. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that additional suspects were hiding at 66 Marlborough Street. While two of them were immediately detained, a third suspect attempted to flee on foot but was ultimately apprehended by the pursuing officers.

After thorough investigation, Antonio Packard-Wade and the juvenile female were positively identified as the individuals responsible for robbing the victim. Fortunately, the stolen items were successfully recovered by the vigilant officers. As a result of their actions, Packard-Wade now faces charges of receiving stolen property and is scheduled to be arraigned at Boston Municipal Court.

The juvenile female, on the other hand, faces charges of unarmed robbery and receiving stolen property as a delinquent. Her arraignment has also been slated to take place at Boston Municipal Court. The specific details regarding the other individuals who were stopped by the police have not yet been disclosed, leaving their current status unknown.
