The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is appealing to the public for help in identifying and locating a suspect vehicle involved in a homicide that took place on the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, on the 6th of February.
According to official MPD documents, officers responded to a report of a traffic collision at the specified location. Upon arrival, they discovered an individual inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Tragically, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Rufus Brown, a 48-year-old male.
As part of their investigation, the MPD has obtained surveillance footage which captured the suspect vehicle.
