(WWLP) – In Worcester, two teenagers were apprehended on Saturday after numerous pedestrians reported being targeted by paintball shots from a vehicle. The incidents occurred on Friday when a gray Honda Civic allegedly stopped and an individual from the vehicle fired paintballs at the victims, leaving visible paint marks on them.

Following the reports, Worcester Police issued a ‘Be On the Lookout’ for the suspect’s vehicle. The vehicle was located on Saturday at approximately 12:05 a.m., driving at a high speed. Police conducted a traffic stop and as an officer approached the vehicle, one of the passengers attempted to flee. The 16-year-old boy was promptly arrested, while the driver, identified as 19-year-old David Asemani from Worcester, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

During a search of the vehicle, a paintball gun was discovered. Both suspects now face additional charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
