Bob’s Red Mill, founded in 1978, started as a local business serving the Portland area. Over the years, it grew into a global corporation, offering more than 200 products, including cereals, flours, and beans, in over 70 countries worldwide. From Canada to China to Australia, Bob’s Red Mill became a household name for those seeking healthy and nutritious whole-grain foods.

A Commitment to Employees

In 2010, Bob Moore and his wife Charlee, who sadly passed away in 2018, established an employee stock ownership plan. This plan allowed them to transfer the ownership of the company to its dedicated employees. Today, Bob’s Red Mill is proudly 100% owned by its more than 700 employees. Even until his passing, Bob remained an active member of the company’s board.
