According to authorities, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Providence Street, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds inside a residence. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, the man succumbed to his injuries at the location.
