Accident – Death – Obituary News : A harrowing incident at a renowned amusement park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has left a man paralyzed, according to a lawsuit filed by a North Carolina couple. Gangia Adhikari and her husband Kul Sannyashi visited the Family Kingdom Amusement Park on July 23, 2021, and decided to ride the iconic wooden Swamp Fox Roller Coaster.

The lawsuit, filed on June 20, alleges that Sannyashi suffered a severe spinal cord injury resulting in quadriplegia while riding the roller coaster due to the negligence and recklessness of the park’s operators. The couple claimed that the coaster was unusually dangerous compared to typical roller coasters and that the park failed to adequately warn customers about the potential risks involved.

Attorney Morgan Martin, representing the couple, stated that Sannyashi’s condition is dire, describing the incident as a tragic turn of events. Sannyashi underwent multiple operations, costly medical treatments, and required intensive care following the incident. The lawsuit further alleges that the amusement park did not take necessary precautions to prevent such serious injuries from occurring.

As a result of the incident, Sannyashi now requires round-the-clock nursing care and is said to be experiencing extreme physical pain, mental anguish, and depression. Adhikari is seeking compensation for the loss of companionship, fellowship, and support due to her husband’s permanent injuries.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Family Kingdom Amusement Park for comment on the matter. The lawsuit is ongoing, and the park has yet to respond to the allegations made by the couple. The incident has sparked concerns about safety measures at amusement parks and the responsibility of operators to ensure the well-being of their patrons.

In light of this tragic event, it is crucial for amusement parks to prioritize safety and implement strict measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. The well-being of visitors should always be the top priority, and rigorous safety protocols must be in place to protect individuals from harm while enjoying the attractions offered by these establishments.

As more details emerge about this distressing incident, it serves as a reminder of the potential risks associated with amusement park rides and the importance of holding operators accountable for maintaining a safe environment for all visitors. The lawsuit highlights the devastating consequences that can result from negligence and the need for enhanced safety standards in the amusement park industry..
