Five additional individuals have been apprehended on Saturday in relation to the horrifying gang rape of a minor in the Neredmet police station area. The Rachakonda police department has identified the accused as Sripanga Vijay Kumar, Bollepogu Ajay, Guddanti Krishna, Sabavath Hathya Naik, Enjamuri Madhu, James Xaviour, Vagmare Balaji, M.R.W. Deepak, Chakkolu Naresh, and Thonte Kiran Kumar.

The 11-year-old victim was subjected to repeated assaults by the perpetrators over several months. Vijay Kumar, the main suspect and the minor’s ‘lover,’ reportedly enlisted his associates in the heinous crime. The gang allegedly drugged the girl with ganja during the assaults.

ACP Mahesh of Kushaiguda confirmed that the victim has informed authorities that she was given a cold drink laced with ganja.

Moreover, ACP Mahesh stated, “The survivor is currently in a fragile physical state, and with a six-month pregnancy, her health is being monitored by the Child Welfare Commission. She has been admitted to the hospital.”

Ten Arrested for the Murder of Intermediate Student

In a tragic case of sexual jealousy, ten individuals, including five minors, have been detained by Allapur police for the murder of their 17-year-old fellow intermediate student. The group staged the victim’s body on a railway track to make it appear as though he had died by accident or suicide.

According to Inspector Venkat Reddy of Allapur, the victim Mohammed Danish’s parents reported him missing after he failed to return home one night. His body was discovered on railway tracks the following day at Borabanda railway station.

“During the investigation, we analysed the victim’s call detail records and identified suspects whose movements coincided with the victim’s on the night of June 22,” stated Venkat Reddy.

One of the suspects is the son of the late rowdy sheeter Mohammed Waheed. He and his accomplices had been pressuring Danish to stay away from a minor girl with whom he had a close relationship.

The suspects lured Danish to an isolated area near Borabanda railway station, where they assaulted him with beer bottles before strangling him to death, as per reports.

Five of the accused have been presented in court, while the five juvenile suspects have been transferred to a juvenile facility.

Police have filed charges against Mohd Yousuf, also known as ‘Jungli Yousuf,’ for allegedly intimidating a journalist during a security check. The complainant, Mohammed Zia, reported that he was covering a police operation when Yousuf threatened him. Yousuf has been detained, and a case has been registered for public disturbance and provocation.

Traffic Awareness Programme for Auto Drivers

A traffic awareness session was organised for autorickshaw drivers at the Nampally Exhibition Ground in Hyderabad. Senior traffic police officers from various zones distributed uniforms to the drivers and briefed them on their responsibilities, emphasising the importance of adhering to traffic regulations.
