MILWAUKEE – Two separate incidents of gun violence in Milwaukee have shaken the community, with one resulting in a tragic loss of life and the other leaving a victim fighting for survival on Friday, June 28.
Law enforcement authorities are actively investigating both cases, with one suspect already in custody while another remains at large.
The first incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m., where a 35-year-old individual was fatally shot. The alleged perpetrator, a 30-year-old woman, later surrendered herself at a Milwaukee police station.
Details of the Incidents
In a separate shooting incident at the intersection of Hopkins and Fairmount at around 6:15 p.m., a 24-year-old victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the victim’s condition is stable, and authorities are actively pursuing a 28-year-old male suspect in connection with the shooting.
