Ujire Tragedy: Fatal Car Crash Claims Life of Young Entrepreneur

Belthangady, 29th June 2024: A devastating incident unfolded in Ujire in the early hours of Saturday morning, as a car veered out of control at high speed and collided with a divider, resulting in the untimely death of a young entrepreneur.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Prajwal Nayak, a native of Belthangady. He sustained critical injuries in the crash and was swiftly transported to a hospital in Mangalore by local residents. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he tragically passed away due to the severity of his injuries.

The fatal incident occurred at approximately 4 AM when the vehicle, en route from College Road to Belthangady, collided with a streetlight pole on the central divider. The impact was so forceful that the front end of the car was completely crumpled, and a nearby electric pole was knocked over.

Prajwal Nayak, the son of Pramod R. Nayak and proprietor of Prajwal Complex in Belthangady, was not only a successful entrepreneur but also operated a gaming establishment in D.M. Gowda Complex in Ujire.
