IRVING, Texas — Authorities in Irving, Texas, have apprehended a suspect accused of fatally shooting two employees at a Chick-fil-A restaurant. The incident took place on Wednesday, and the alleged perpetrator, 37-year-old Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, was taken into custody at around 2:50 a.m. on June 27, 2024.

Following an extensive investigation, law enforcement officers successfully located and arrested Argueta. He is currently being held in the Irving City Jail awaiting arraignment. The Irving Police Department released a statement confirming the arrest and charges against the suspect.
