Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 20-year-old youth named Naman Ravisingh Chandel, also known as Ashu, tragically took his own life by hanging himself at his residence in the Pardesipura area of Indore on Saturday. This devastating act came shortly after his family had rescued him from attempting suicide at the railway station, only for him to carry out the fatal act at home, as reported by the police.
Ashu, who was employed at a hardware store in Siyaganj and was unmarried, left behind a poignant suicide note that shed some light on his state of mind. In the note, he addressed accusations of an alleged affair with a woman, stating, “I am not wrong. The woman you are alleging me of having an affair with is like my sister. But you are not believing in me. And that’s why I’m ending my life.”
The authorities are currently investigating the content of the suicide note and the circumstances surrounding Ashu’s untimely demise. The woman mentioned in the note remains unidentified, with the police treating the matter as a personal one. The investigation is ongoing to uncover the underlying reasons behind the tragic incident.
Prior to his suicide, Ashu reportedly made an attempt to end his life by jumping onto the railway tracks under Rajkumar Bridge on Thursday night, after cutting his wrist vein. However, just a few days later, Ashu succumbed to his inner turmoil and hanged himself at his residence.
