SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Caddo Parish Coroner has identified the victim of Shreveport’s 35th homicide of the year as 46-year-old Jacoby Willis from Dallas. Willis was fatally shot late Friday night while talking to an individual at a home in the 7200 block of Bethany Street.
According to the coroner’s report, a family member heard several shots fired during the conversation and discovered Willis with a gunshot wound to the neck. Despite being rushed to Ochsner LSU Health, Willis succumbed to his injuries at 11:59 p.m.
