HOUSTON, Texas — Two individuals, Marcus Anderson (21) and Camrese Holloway (20), have been charged with capital murder in connection with the tragic shooting death of 15-year-old Eddzavian Galloway on August 15, 2022, at 2920 Brewster Street, according to a statement released by the Houston Police Department (HPD).

Following a response to a shooting incident at the aforementioned location, HPD officers discovered Galloway unresponsive in the driveway. Despite being rushed to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center by Houston Fire Department paramedics, Galloway was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Initial findings from the investigation indicated that a gunshot was heard, and witnesses reported seeing a dark gray or green vehicle fleeing the scene. After an extensive inquiry, Holloway and Anderson emerged as the prime suspects. Holloway, who was already in custody for unrelated charges, was formally charged on June 27. Anderson, who was apprehended by HPD officers on June 26, also faced charges on June 27.
