HOUSTON, Texas — Two individuals, 21-year-old Marcus Anderson and 20-year-old Camrese Holloway, have been charged with capital murder in connection to the tragic shooting that resulted in the death of 15-year-old Eddzavian Galloway on August 15, 2022, at 2920 Brewster Street.
The Houston Police Department (HPD) announced the charges against Anderson and Holloway, highlighting the severity of the crime that led to the loss of a young life.
Upon responding to a shooting call at the scene, HPD officers discovered Galloway unresponsive in the driveway of the residence. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics to save him, Galloway was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
An initial investigation revealed that a gunshot had been heard, and witnesses reported a dark gray or green vehicle fleeing the area. After a thorough inquiry, Holloway and Anderson were identified as the prime suspects in the case.
Holloway, who was already in custody on unrelated charges, was formally charged on June 27. Anderson, on the other hand, was apprehended by HPD officers on June 26 and subsequently charged the following day.
Booking photos of the suspects, Anderson and Holloway, have been made available by HPD to aid in the ongoing investigation.
