A devastating incident unfolded late Friday night in Union County, resulting in the untimely death of a 21-year-old man. The fatal crash took place in the 400 block of East 1st Street in Roselle, where a BMW and a Subaru collided head-on under tragic circumstances.
Witnesses reported that the collision was so severe that the BMW caught fire shortly after impact. Fortunately, several quick-thinking individuals rushed to the scene and managed to extricate the sole occupant of the BMW before the flames engulfed the vehicle. The young man was identified as Brandon Amaro, a resident of Roselle.
Despite the valiant efforts of first responders who administered CPR in a bid to save Amaro’s life, tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The entire community is left grieving the loss of a young life taken too soon.
Meanwhile, the husband and wife who were travelling in the Subaru sustained multiple injuries as a result of the crash. They were rushed to a nearby hospital and are currently receiving treatment for their wounds. While their condition was initially deemed serious, the latest update indicates that they are in stable condition as of Saturday evening.
