The devastating crash occurred on June 12 on U.S. 69 and Dension Street when a vehicle, driven by Angela Woodson, was rear-ended by a pickup truck while waiting to turn left. The impact of the collision caused the car to be pushed into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a semitruck.

Tragically, Angela Woodson was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving her 3-month-old grandson, Roman, fighting for his life in the hospital.
