The devastating incident occurred on June 12 on U.S. 69 and Denison Street in Bells, Texas. A vehicle, driven by Angela Woodson, was rear-ended by a pickup truck while waiting to make a left turn. The impact of the collision forced the car into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a semitruck.
