In a recent development, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office has successfully apprehended a fugitive who was wanted on charges of attempted murder in Lake City. The arrest took place just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, when deputies were patrolling the area of North Highway 17 and Doar Road in Awendaw.
During their routine patrol, deputies identified a vehicle that was flagged in a database with several associated charges. Acting swiftly, the deputies initiated a felony stop, leading to the detention of the driver who was later identified as 19-year-old Timetrius Brown from Lake City.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Timetrius Brown is facing multiple charges, including two counts of attempted murder, one count of possessing a weapon during a violent crime, and one count of shooting into a dwelling. Brown has now been transferred to the Al Cannon Detention Center, where he is on hold with the Lake City Police Department for further processing.
