The tragic incident occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast, close to 13th Street Southeast, where a 32-year-old man lost his life due to a gunshot wound.
Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Suspect
Authorities from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene on May 1, just before 12:25 p.m., following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, identified as Thomas Carlos Felder, who succumbed to his injuries at the location.
Surveillance Footage Released
The police have released a photo of the suspect involved in the shooting and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual. The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras, and the footage can be viewed here.
Reward for Information
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the homicide.
