WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. – A resident of Milwaukee was taken into custody for driving under the influence after leading law enforcement officers on a chase in Waukesha County in the early hours of Friday, June 28.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reported that close to 3 a.m., a state trooper made an attempt to pull over a vehicle on I-94 near Sunny Slope Road.
The driver of the vehicle failed to comply with the trooper’s signals, prompting a pursuit.
The driver eventually abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Authorities deployed a K9 unit and a drone to track down and apprehend the individual near the intersection of Watertown Plank Road and Pilgrim Parkway.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Nathaneal Patterson from Milwaukee, was taken into custody for his fourth offense of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Subsequent to an evidentiary blood draw, Patterson was detained without any resistance.
He is expected to face charges of felony driving under the influence, felony evading law enforcement, driving with a revoked license, violating bail conditions, having faulty tail lights, and veering out of the designated lane. Additionally, he will be held in custody due to active arrest warrants against him.
