PATTAYA, Thailand – A 22-year-old woman, known as Ms. A (alias), took to social media on June 22 to share a distressing video detailing an alleged assault by a large transgender woman and accomplices outside a dormitory. The perpetrators purportedly pressured her into engaging in prostitution to settle a debt that she had vouched for. Law enforcement had been actively investigating the case since the initial reports surfaced.

On June 27, a coordinated effort involving officers from Pattaya City Police Station, Region 2 Police, and the Central Investigation Bureau’s Anti-Human Trafficking Division culminated in a raid on a tattoo parlour in Soi Rungland, South Pattaya. The operation led to the apprehension of five suspects, all of whom were named in arrest warrants issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court.

The individuals were captured while partaking in gaming activities at the tattoo shop and subsequently transported to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning. During the interrogation process, some of the suspects admitted to the allegations levelled against them, while others refuted involvement in specific aspects of the incident. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities strive to gather additional information pertaining to the assault and the purported human trafficking endeavour.
