A 38-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh has found himself in legal trouble after he was caught smoking inside the lavatory of an IndiGo flight traveling from Delhi to Mumbai. The incident took place when the flight, carrying 176 passengers, was just 50 minutes away from landing at Mumbai airport.

The individual, identified as Khalil Kajammul Khan, entered the airplane’s lavatory and proceeded to light a cigarette, triggering the smoke sensors in the area.
