The Seneca Police Department has made an arrest in connection to the vandalism that occurred at Graves Park on June 21st. A juvenile has been taken into custody for allegedly damaging and spray painting several items within the park.
Following an intensive investigation that involved park board members and tips from the community, law enforcement officials were able to identify the juvenile as the primary suspect in the case. The individual has been charged with Criminal Damage To State Supported Property, a class three felony, and Criminal Defacement of Property, a class four felony.
Authorities have now handed the case over to the LaSalle County Juvenile Probation Officer for further action, as the investigation continues to unfold.
