Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place late Wednesday night in the Chickasaw neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The victim, Daviawn J. Blackmon, a 13-year-old resident of Louisville, tragically lost his life at the scene of the incident before emergency medical assistance could reach him.

The shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 26th in the vicinity of 38th and Broadway. The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) has confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the case, and there are currently no known suspects.
