In a disturbing incident that occurred in Hyderabad, a woman was arrested for allegedly strangling her daughter-in-law to death following an argument over tea. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Ajmiri Beegum, lost her life in the tragic incident that took place yesterday. The suspect, Ajmiri’s mother-in-law Farzana, has been taken into custody by the authorities.

The fatal confrontation unfolded around 10.30 am on the fateful day when Farzana reportedly requested her daughter-in-law to prepare tea for her. However, when Ajmiri refused to comply with the request, an altercation ensued between the two women. Subsequently, Farzana followed Ajmiri into the kitchen and allegedly used a scarf to strangle her.

At the time of the incident, Ajmiri’s husband Abbas and their two children were not present at home. The couple had tied the knot in 2015, and according to the police, tensions had been escalating between Ajmiri and her mother-in-law for the past two weeks. Authorities have indicated that further information regarding the case will be disclosed following the release of the post-mortem report, as an investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
