According to sources from the rescue team, the incident took place in the Jamilpurah area of Gujranwala while the victims, a family, were peacefully asleep on the roof of their house.
The victims of this heart-wrenching incident have been identified as 35-year-old Wilayat and 35-year-old Musarat Bibi, who tragically lost their lives. In addition, 7-year-old Haram, 80-year-old Hanifa Bibi, and 30-year-old Samina Bibi sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.
Upon receiving the distressing news, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and promptly transferred the bodies of the deceased and the injured individuals to the hospital for further treatment. Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Prior to this unfortunate event, another shooting incident took place in the Bahmani Wala area of Faisalabad, claiming the lives of three individuals. The victims have been identified as 45-year-old Siddique, 22-year-old Zubair, and 23-year-old Ghaffran.
Authorities have revealed that the shooting was allegedly carried out by a man named Atif and his accomplices. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the Rural Health Center under the supervision of the police.
In a separate and equally tragic incident, a woman and another individual lost their lives in a shooting incident in Jacobabad. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Ghari Khairu police station, where Lal Bakhsh Buledi opened fire on his niece and another youth, resulting in their untimely deaths.
