Law enforcement officers from Constable Mark Herman’s Office acted swiftly to apprehend two suspects involved in a drive-by shooting on June 23, 2024, in Houston, Texas.
The incident took place in the 7400 block of Foxwaithe Lane, where deputies responded to reports of shots fired at a residence. The complainant informed the authorities that two individuals in a white vehicle had carried out the shooting. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies immediately began searching the area and were able to locate the suspect vehicle.
Following a successful traffic stop, the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Jalen Williams and Ernest McMillan, were taken into custody. During a thorough search of the vehicle, law enforcement officials discovered a firearm, which was seized as evidence.
Both suspects, Jalen Williams and Ernest McMillan, were arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. They have been charged with Deadly Conduct and will face legal proceedings in the 228th District Court. Jalen Williams’ bail has been set at £2,500, while Ernest McMillan’s bail stands at £30,000, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
