LAS VEGAS, NV – A tragic shooting incident in Las Vegas has left five people dead and one in critical condition. The suspected gunman, identified as 47-year-old Eric Adams, has taken his own life following a manhunt that lasted throughout the night.
Shooting Incident
The North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex on Casa Norte Drive at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Monday night. Upon arrival, officers discovered two women, one in her late 50s and one in her early 40s, who had been shot. Tragically, both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third victim, a 13-year-old female, was also found with a gunshot wound and is currently in critical condition at the UMC Trauma Center. Further investigation led to the discovery of three more victims at a second apartment in the complex. A man in his early 20s and two women in their mid-20s were also pronounced dead.
Manhunt and Suicide
After fleeing the scene, Eric Adams became the subject of a manhunt by law enforcement. On Tuesday morning, a tip led police to a business on East Lake Mead Boulevard where Adams was located. Adams attempted to escape but ultimately took his own life in a nearby backyard when confronted by officers.
