In a recent announcement, law enforcement officials in Las Vegas revealed that three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of 16-year-old Jovan Wright Bullock in May.
One of the suspects, Doir Jenkins, 18, was apprehended on Wednesday, along with two other teens whose identities have not been disclosed but are said to be aged 17 and 14, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The arrests come 46 days after the tragic incident when police discovered Bullock with gunshot wounds near the intersection of Vegas Drive and MLK Boulevard in central Las Vegas on May 11. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Bullock succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Following the shooting, witnesses reported seeing a suspect fleeing the scene and heading south, prompting a widespread search by law enforcement agencies.
Now facing charges of open murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit murder, Jenkins and the 17-year-old have been placed under arrest and booked into the Clark County Detention Center. Meanwhile, the 14-year-old suspect has been detained at Clark County Juvenile Hall.
