The incident, which took place on April 13th, claimed the life of Xiomara Moore, a student at NC State University. According to the police report, Valentine and Hairston allegedly ran a red light while driving a stolen Jeep on North Elm Street at Friendly Avenue, resulting in a collision that led to Moore’s untimely demise.
Both suspects are facing multiple charges, including felony hit-and-run. On the other hand, Hairston, aged 23, faces charges of felony hit-and-run resulting in death as a passenger, felony possession of a stolen vehicle, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Both suspects are currently awaiting extradition back to Greensboro to face trial for their alleged involvement in the fatal hit-and-run incident.
