The deceased, identified as Chandini, was the wife of Vishnu from Odakkali Puliyambilly Mugal Nedumburath House. Her lifeless body was found last night, sending shockwaves through the community.
According to reports, Chandini had taken a loan from a private microfinance firm and was struggling to meet the repayment deadlines. She was scheduled to make an installment payment for the loan on the day of the tragic incident, with some outstanding dues still pending.
Relatives of the deceased revealed that employees of the finance firm had visited Chandini’s home the day before her death, raising suspicions about the circumstances leading to her untimely demise. The Kuruppampady police have initiated an investigation into the matter, aiming to uncover the truth behind Chandini’s death.
The body has been transferred to the Perumbavoor Taluk Hospital for post-mortem examination, after which it will be released to her grieving family for final rites.
