COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department has recently made public a video capturing a shooting incident involving officers in the downtown area of the city. The incident took place on June 9 along S. Nevada in the early hours of the morning.
According to reports, officers were responding to a disturbance call just before 1 a.m. while on foot patrol in the area. The situation quickly escalated as a woman was seen falling to the ground, prompting a chase involving the suspect.

Surveillance footage from the scene reveals that the suspect had allegedly brandished what appeared to be a firearm at the woman before striking her with the weapon and fleeing the scene. The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Al’Morion Germany, sustained gunshot wounds but survived the incident. A firearm was recovered at the scene, and Germany is now facing charges of first-degree assault as the investigation continues.
