(Marshalltown, Iowa) – Authorities from the Marshalltown Police Department announced on Wednesday that a 15-year-old male has been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 1st. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at the scene, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves from Marshalltown.

Suspect at large identified as Victor Antonio Delgadillo

Authorities have identified 18-year-old Victor Antonio Delgadillo, also from Marshalltown, as the primary suspect in the shooting incident. Delgadillo is currently evading law enforcement and is wanted on charges of Murder in the First Degree and Harassment in the First Degree.
