(Marshalltown, Iowa) – Authorities from the Marshalltown Police Department announced on Wednesday that a 15-year-old male has been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 1st. The teenager, whose identity remains undisclosed due to his age, faces charges of Accessory after the fact (Murder) – an Aggravated Misdemeanor, and Possession with the intent to deliver (Marijuana), a Class-D Felony. Following his arrest, the juvenile was transferred to a juvenile detention facility and is currently in custody.

According to a previous statement released by law enforcement officials, emergency responders were dispatched to the Center Street Station bar in Marshalltown at approximately 1:20 a.m. on the aforementioned date following reports of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at the scene, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves from Marshalltown.

Suspect at large identified as Victor Antonio Delgadillo

Authorities have identified 18-year-old Victor Antonio Delgadillo, also from Marshalltown, as the primary suspect in the shooting incident. Delgadillo is currently evading law enforcement and is wanted on charges of Murder in the First Degree and Harassment in the First Degree. Chief Michael Tupper of the Marshalltown Police Department issued a statement urging Delgadillo to surrender himself to the authorities and emphasized the importance of resolving the case through legal channels.

Additionally, Marshall County Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of $5,000.00 for any information leading to the apprehension of Victor Antonio Delgadillo.
