Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a shocking turn of events, a Hansi police team made a significant breakthrough on Tuesday by apprehending two youths allegedly involved in the brutal murder of a newlywed couple at Lala Hukam Chand Jain Park in Hisar. The incident, which took place on Monday morning, left the local community in a state of shock and disbelief.
The two suspects, identified as 21-year-old Sachin from Sultanpur village and 21-year-old Rahul from Dariya Wala village in Jind district, were taken into custody from Dariya Wala village. The police not only recovered the two pistols used in the heinous crime but also confiscated two additional firearms from the possession of the arrested individuals.
Superintendent of Police Maqsood Ahmed revealed that Sachin, the younger brother of the deceased Meena, and Rahul, her maternal uncle’s son, were the masterminds behind the tragic incident. It was disclosed that Sachin, a 12th-grade student pursuing a computer course, had no prior criminal record. On the other hand, Rahul, also a 12th-grade student, had a history of illegal weapon possession and was out on bail. Additionally, Rahul was wanted by the Karnal police in connection with a separate firing incident.
The police investigation indicated that the motive behind the double murder was rooted in Sachin’s disapproval of his sister Meena’s love marriage to Tejbir from Badala village. Despite seeking protection from the court and residing in a safe house, the couple ultimately withdrew their petition and returned to Badala village. Tragically, their decision led to a fatal encounter in Lala Hukam Chand Jain Park orchestrated by Sachin and Rahul.
SP Maqsood Ahmed expressed his commitment to thoroughly interrogate the arrested suspects and explore the possibility of other family members’ involvement in the crime. He assured that any additional perpetrators would be promptly apprehended and brought to justice.
