Accident – Death – Obituary News : Limestone County, Alabama – In a recent development, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) made two significant arrests following a routine traffic stop on Friday, June 21. The deputies were on patrol in the area, specifically looking for impaired drivers, when they spotted a suspicious vehicle travelling west along Highway 72 near Mooresville Road. The vehicle, which had only one working headlight, was eventually pulled over after turning south on Mooresville Road.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 57-year-old Jamey Dan Dobbins from Hartselle, a familiar face to the deputies from previous investigations. Accompanying Dobbins was 25-year-old Alyssa Mary Turner, a resident of Athens. Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered 1.7 grams of fentanyl along with other drug-related items.
Further investigation revealed that Dobbins was allegedly soliciting prostitution using drugs and money. As a result, Turner was arrested for trafficking dangerous drugs (fentanyl) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is currently being held in the Limestone County Jail on a bond of $51,000. Dobbins, on the other hand, faces charges of trafficking dangerous drugs (fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, and soliciting prostitution. He is also being held in the Limestone County Jail on a bond of $52,000.
