Accident – Death – Obituary News : PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — In a recent incident, Priceville Police Department (PPD) made a significant drug bust following a routine traffic stop on Monday. The incident occurred near Highway 67 and Deer Road, where officers pulled over a vehicle for a minor traffic violation.

Upon further investigation, two individuals inside the vehicle were taken into custody and transported to the Morgan County Jail. The first individual, identified as 60-year-old Darren Keith Davis from Lacey’s Spring, faced multiple charges including trafficking fentanyl, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition to these charges, Davis was also cited for running a red light, stopping in an intersection, and a seatbelt violation. He was subsequently given a bond of $256,000.

The second individual, 28-year-old Whitney Nichole Gonzalez, also from Lacey’s Spring, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Gonzalez, too, received a citation for a seatbelt violation and was given a bond of $500.
