Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A fatal single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a man in St. Helena Parish on Tuesday afternoon, June 25, as reported by Louisiana State Police.
The tragic incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on LA Highway 38 near the intersection of LA Highway 441 in St. Helena Parish.
The victim has been identified as 80-year-old Billy Hebert from Greensburg.
According to the preliminary investigation conducted by LSP, Hebert was travelling west on LA Highway 38 when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Regrettably, Hebert was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
