Accident – Death – Obituary News : A differently-abled man was tragically murdered in what appears to be a dispute over money in the Jaitpur area of Delhi. The victim, identified as Nanhe Lal Sharma, who served as the National General Secretary of the Rashtriya Divyang Sena (RDS), was reported missing by his sister-in-law, Savita Sharma, on June 19. It was later discovered that his lifeless body had been dumped in the Etmadur area of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
The Delhi Police swiftly took action and apprehended two of the four suspects allegedly involved in the heinous crime. The investigation revealed that Nanhe Lal Sharma had recently relocated from Saurabh Vihar in Jaitpur to Basantpur in Faridabad, where he resided with three other individuals with disabilities – Rani, Savita, and Ehsaan Ahmad.
Upon examining CCTV footage from the vicinity of Sharma’s residence, authorities observed the victim arriving with his nephews, Nitin and Kalu, on a two-wheeler late in the evening on June 16. Subsequently, during the early hours of June 17, four individuals were seen loitering near Sharma’s home. Among them, Ehsaan Ahmad was identified, alongside Ravi, Mohammed Tariq, and Naresh.
According to the police, Ehsaan Ahmad, in collaboration with two accomplices, allegedly strangled Nanhe Lal Sharma in connection to a financial disagreement. The perpetrators then transported the deceased’s body in Ehsan’s vehicle and discarded it in a canal near Etmatpur in Agra. Rajesh Deo, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East Delhi), stated, “The four individuals murdered Nanhe Sharma and disposed of his body in Agra.”
Following intensive interrogations, Ahmad and Tariq admitted to their involvement in the crime. The authorities are currently working to establish the connections between all four suspects and are actively pursuing the arrest of Ravi and Naresh.
As the investigation unfolds, efforts are being made to bring justice to the victim and his family. The Delhi Police remain committed to ensuring that those responsible for this senseless act of violence are held accountable for their actions..
