A man has been arrested and charged with felony child abuse following the tragic death of a 3-year-old boy in Dunn, United Kingdom.
On Monday, authorities from the Dunn Police Department received a distressing call at 10:08 a.m. reporting an unresponsive child at a residence on Ponderosa Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of the young boy, prompting an immediate investigation.
The emergency medical services (EMS) team swiftly transported the child to a nearby hospital before airlifting him to a trauma centre in a desperate bid to save his life. Sadly, despite the efforts of medical professionals, the boy succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
During the initial stages of the investigation, a man present at the scene was identified as Micha Ezekiel Wynn. Wynn was promptly taken into custody by law enforcement officers and escorted to the police headquarters for questioning. The child’s mother, Sierra Privette, was also brought in for interrogation as part of the ongoing probe.
Following a thorough examination of the evidence, Wynn was formally charged with felony child abuse for inflicting serious injury on the young victim.
