Accident – Death – Obituary News :
The Southern MN Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the female body discovered in the back seat of a vehicle during an accident response by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Rochester, Minnesota.
Authorities have identified the deceased as 35-year-old Liara Tsai, a resident of Minneapolis.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found Margot Lewis, 32, who is the owner of the vehicle, receiving medical treatment for her injuries nearby.
Following standard procedure, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle to check for any other injured individuals. It was during this search that they made the grim discovery of Tsai’s body in the back seat.
Minneapolis Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension have taken over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Tsai’s death. Meanwhile, Lewis is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
