Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a woman with at least one gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, as confirmed by the Modesto Police Department.
Subsequently, a man identified as Keith Vennema, aged 47 and a resident of Modesto, was apprehended by authorities. He was taken into custody and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of attempted murder, domestic violence, and firearms-related offenses.
