Accident – Death – Obituary News :

The Lincoln Police Department in Lincoln, Nebraska, has reported the arrest of a 27-year-old man, Jesse Stinson, on Friday. Stinson is accused of selling fentanyl pills that led to an overdose incident in May.

According to authorities, the incident took place near North 28th and Fletcher Avenue late in the evening on May 1. Lincoln Fire and Rescue and Lincoln Police responded to a call about an unconscious individual who was not breathing normally.

After administering Narcan, emergency responders were able to revive the individual, who was then rushed to the hospital for further treatment. Subsequent investigation revealed that the victim had ingested a blue pill containing fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid.

Further examination of the scene led investigators to believe that the drug transaction occurred outside a gas station in the North Bottoms area. Surveillance footage from the gas station showed Stinson meeting with the victim on multiple occasions on the day of the overdose.

Stinson was taken into custody and charged with delivery and possession with intent to deliver a hazardous drug. Despite the evidence presented, Stinson denied selling fentanyl to the victim during a police interview.

He is currently being held at the Lancaster County Jail on a bond set at 10% of $25,000. Stinson’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 25.
